BHEEM PUL is located in Mana, the last village located on the border with Tibet. A bridge made of Mahabharata period is still present in this village, which is known as 'Bhim Pul'. It is said that when the Pandavas were going to heaven through this village, they asked the Saraswati river present here for a way to go ahead, but the Saraswati river refused to give way, after which Mahabali Bhima broke two big rocks. Picked it up and put it over the river and made a way for itself. After this the Pandavas left for heaven by crossing this bridge.
SARASWATI RIVER is referred to as the goddess of speech and learning, not as a river, throughout the Vedas and Puranas. It has been described in Skandpuran and the Mahabharata with great reverence. They claimed that the Saraswati River once flowed from the Himalayas via Kurukshetra, Virat, Pushkar, Siddhpur, Prabhas, and other locations before it met the ocean and continued on to Kutch in Gujarat. In Prayag, the rivers Saraswati, Ganga, and Yamuna converged. The Saraswati River's water entered the Yamuna when the ground lifted as a result of the earthquake.
